Furphy Galvanizing is a division of J.Furphy & Sons Pty Ltd.

We are a family owned and operated company located at Shepparton in Regional Victoria for over 125 years, primarily involved in Fabrications for the Food Industry.

We are seeking to employ an Operations Manager to join the growing needs of our Galvanizing division.

This is a Management role with overall responsibility for Production and Plant Maintenance including:
- Staff Recruitment Supervision & Training
- OH & S Management & Training
- Plant upgrades, Budgeting & Cost Controls
- Raw material & waste management
Applicants must have:
- strong people management & communication skills
- excellent technical aptitude or the ability to manage and plan in that environment
- excellent time management and planning skills

You will be motivated by working in a team environment and adapt previously gained principles to overall process efficiency and performance improvements.

You will have track record in Supervision or Operations Coordination in an industrial environment with a commitment for career development.

Formal certification / qualifications in Management, Supervision, OH & S, Engineering or Manufacturing would be an advantage.

Proficient use of MS Office products would be an advantage.

Salary will be negotiable and commensurate with experience.
