Computer Repair Technician

Based on the mornington peninsula, av2pc Somerville we are a computer sales and repair retail store and are seeking an experienced computer technician for repair and service of new and used computers and laptops in our workshop. The position offers full time employment most work is based on small businesses and domestic clients aswell as on site visits and sales in retail part of shop for audio visual equipment and computer equipment.

Minimum Requirements:

Must have experience with general pc repairs and service pcs and laptops

Excellent communication skills
The ability to take ownership of a job from start to finish
Confident with ability to troubleshoot issues
Customer focused and friendly - able to give the right advice to customers
Able to work unsupervised
Australian Permanent Resident
Must have driver’s license
Must have own car
Shop hours are 9-5 Monday to Friday
Flexible hours available for the right person


Technical Requirements:

Strong hardware and software knowledge
Good knowledge of Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7 O/S
Troubleshooting skills
Networking and wireless networking skills
Internet and email setup
Gaming console and phone repairs ability would be highly regarded

Starting salary including 9% Super
