I am going travelling, and have a room to fill between 11 June and 28 July. Shorter stay is OK - I would just like to have someone in while I'm away.

THE HOUSE is an absolutely beautiful, fully renovated workers' cottage, within a short walk from the CBD (West Melbourne). It's also close to a tram and train (North Melbourne Station), and a 10-minute walk from the Queen Victoria Market. It has a washing machine, a bath, wireless internet, central heating, a garage, a small backyard, and one wonderful (male) housemate to share with.

THE ROOM is beautiful, fully furnished with XXL single bed, a BIR, and a gorgeous 1950s dressing table. It faces away from the street and gets lovely morning light.

THE DOWNSIDES are absolutely none, except it being short-term. This is a fantastic place to live.

THE RENT is $600/month.
